Strawberry Vaporblade is a remix EP with an experimental vaporwave and trip-hop ideal being applied to different songs. The EP starts off with an eerie melancholy remix of 'Go Away' by Strawberry Switchblade, an instro-synth groovy 'I Like' by Men Without Hats and a short menacing interlude-style beat which samples 'Are Friends Electric?' by Gary Numan and the Tubeway Army. Next, a trippy rendition of 'Come As You Are' by the one and only Nirvana, followed by an instrumental remix of 'Ain't No Half Steppin' by Marly Marl and Big Daddy Kane which shows how the same musical techniques of vaporwave are interchangeable with trip-hop, or rather, how trip-hop indelibly spawned vaporware. Lxnnnie, the main force behind Indifferent Spaces, has used the technique of slowing down, looping and enhancing samples for years in numerous genres of music. Rather than pigeon-hole labeling these tracks as vaporware, trip hop, etc, which have specific requirements, he has generalized these types of tracks, calling them "Slow-fi.”
